Mortensen Elementary is dedicated to providing an excellent learning experience for your children. We have prepared this handbook as a guide to our school. We hope it will be a useful resource that answers your questions regarding day-to-day activities as well as special events and programs you and your child can experience throughout the school year.

The Student and Family Handbook is designed to promote safety through high standards of behavior. This handbook contains information regarding the policies, procedures, and rules of our school. We hope that you will be an active participant in your child’s education. We believe that a strong partnership between parents and teachers is needed for the greatest gains for our children.
