Second Grade
In our second-grade classes, students will experience personalized instruction tailored to their needs. This includes lessons on social-emotional learning, reading for comprehension, sequential phonics teaching, and writing across various genres like narratives, nonfiction, poetry, and opinion pieces.
In mathematics, they will engage in problem-solving and collaborative activities focusing on skills such as data analysis, addition, subtraction up to 1000, measurements, time, money, equal groups, and geometry.
The science and social studies curriculum covers economics, historical and present events, force and motion, and ecosystems. Additionally, we organize engaging field trips aligned with our curriculum, creating a dynamic learning environment where every student is valued and heard.
